1/ The state of the economy right now has lead many of my friends and followers to supplement their income with sites like Patreon, OnlyFans, etc to post modeling sets, cosplay, erotic art/fiction, etc. So here’s a friendly reminder from Twitter dad.
2/ folks who sell their pictures, videos, and art are doing legitimate work. They set their own boundaries on what they produce and what content they sell and are usually very up front about it and the terms they’re offering it with.
3/ even those who take commissions or requests are allowed to set these boundaries. Many offer lewds, or certain kinds of situations in fiction, or specific types of cosplay (comics, VG, anime). It’s their choice to set that limit.
4/ as a consumer it is your choice to pay for this content and your choice whether or not to consume it. It isn’t your choice to dictate to these folks how much they show in photos, what they write about, or which property/fandoms they cosplay.
5/ I am sure I don’t have to remind my followers here to:
* always be respectful of the artist
* never steal, appropriate, or share this content without the artist’s consent
* never harass, badger, or abuse the artist in DMs or online or in person
* always remember this is work!
6/ okay that’s it. Let’s be good patrons or fans or friends or followers or subscribers. Let’s not be abusive assrags. Thank you. ❤️❤️💜💜
