First, I have to note that we only have the first issue of Future State Teen Titans, and we currently do not have all the information about the incident at Titans Island like who was in the light cocoon or who was in it. But with that aside...
I believe we will see a similar scene to this one in Future State Teen Titans again but with a different outcome.

Reading this, I got the impression that this is the first time the new Red X has used the suit. Or at least one of the first times and this is him being outed by the Titans.
And we know Red X will appear early on in Titans Academy so this can be inferred that this is around that
