You left out the testimony of #transgender youth, their parents, and the doctors who work to preserve their mental health.
While we’re here - this is complete nonsense. Social transition is discussed with every single adolescent who presents to a gender clinic.
This is also some bizarre anti-psychiatry nonsense. Folks come off SSRIs all the time. Some choose not to because they have such a benign side effect profile that it’s not worth the risk of relapse into depression or anxiety.
Also the smallest issue, but your opening is bizarre. People ask about your dog’s gender because they want to know what pronouns to use, not because they have some deep interest in your dogs internal experience of its gender.
