The Free Market is garbage; it allows parasites to rise and take advantage of your fellow citizens. The "adjustments" made are well after people are robbed and destroyed. Corporatism solves this problem with a strong State being the arbiter BETWEEN the employer and employee.
Citizens are free to operate their small businesses without govt intervention so long as it does not harm the State or the people. Wealth and prosperity still occurs because Corporatism allows people to go up in ranks according to merit and hard work; work which benefits all.
Workers are protected and so are employers, as the State makes sure, with the use of its power, that no party is screwed over and both walk away with the best deal possible. This unites all classes rather than putting them at each other's throats; it makes the workforce a family.
Competition still exists, but rather than to take out other companies with various unethical, capitalist tactics— destroying jobs and creating monopolies—healthy competition drives companies to improve products for the greater good of the people, whilst earning more.
Corporatism is superior to what we have now, most importantly, because the current disparity of wealth between the classes wouldn't even be allowed. There would still be different levels of wealth, but never to the extent where the "poorest" citizen couldn't live a decent life.
The Corporatist puts the greater good over material profit and knows the greatest good is the health and wealth of his fellow citizens, not the GDP or whatever. But such is alien to the American who has been trained to chase and worship money at the expense of himself and others.
