Sidebar. There’s a rock that has a plaque commemorating the first @USPS air mail (which started in 1918) it’s in West Potomac Park.

The @TheWharfDC is obv open, and juice was in order...
Thought I could jog past the @IntlSpyMuseum along Independence ... and wide around the Capitol complex ... that worked til 4th so then back under the freeway and toward NavyYard 
Up and around the Capitol there were dozens of Washingtonians thanking the hundreds National Guard troops deployed to our city to keep us safe and ensure a peaceful transition of power in less than 100 hours.
Swung by @wethepizza ... @chefspike and the team have been feed the troops stationed in DC and encouraging neighbors to help keep the pies coming by donating to the effort

Everything’s fine.
The scope and size of the perimeter and the number of people, fence and hardware to protect our city is truly remarkable. It hit me at this intersection.
