Glossary:
OT7: or simply ARMY. Fans of BTS who support all 7 members of BTS.
Solos: people who support only one member of BTS, often creating false and humiliating narratives around the members and BigHit.
Non-OT7s: people who support some but not all members of BTS

1. Accounts
Familiarise yourself with the ⁷ (little seven) ARMY put in display names. It is usually a sign this person is an OT7, though some solo stans or non OT7s masquerade as OT7 accounts.
Of course the accounts with ⁷ could still share malicious content unknowingly.

If you see an OT7 account sharing malicious content posted by solos/non OT7s/antis/mantis dm them to let them know. If they refuse to take it down block and report them immediately and let your followers know.
2. Trends
If you see something trending (e.g. “Respect X Member” or “We Support Y Member”) do some investigation work before you start posting to these tags and supporting its message. Get in touch with accounts you trust to decipher whether it is malicious solo content.

3. Don’t be a sheep
Sometimes solos will spin anything into a case of mistreatment just because they don’t get to see a specific member engage in non BTS related activities. Don’t buy into it. Think for yourself.

Sometimes solos will accuse you of not being an OT7 if you don’t support their narrative. Don’t let them guilt trip you.
If you see an account with a ⁷ buying into these narratives let them know it is solo activity, if they won’t comply block and report.

4. Check it out for yourself
If someone, for example, has posted that a member has substantially less pages/photos in a photobook than others, check it out for yourself before sharing. If you don’t have the means to do it firsthand, someone else will have checked.

If you see anyone on your timeline sharing incorrect information, dm them to let them know the truth and ask them to take it down - you already know what to do if they don’t!
5. Contacting BigHit
If there is something genuinely wrong tagging BigHit’s twitter will do nothing. That’s why when you see accounts tagging them on a tweet to fix an issue you should realise something is off. Most ARMY know the correct way to contact BigHit is through email

But that doesn’t mean we should abuse these inboxes. Complaints about the company should NOT be sent to the report email as that is only for possible defamation against BigHit artists and will therefore be ignored.
6. Solo posts
If you stumble across a solos tweet or account immediately block and report it. DO NOT ENGAGE. Try and find some of their tweets that break twitter’s terms of service (swearing, harassment, racism etc) and this should get them gone sooner.

Ask your friends to report the account too.
I cannot express how much you should NOT ENGAGE. The more engagements the more amount of time it will take twitter to take down that account.

7. Your Posts
Try not to post anything that will attract solo stans. This one is pretty easy. Just think before you post!

If for some reason solos start to gather in your comment section, don’t give them the time of day. If your post seems to be in their favour DELETE IMMEDIATELY. It doesn’t matter if it has lots of likes and retweets — it’s not worth it!
Things to remember
In ARMY it’s 7 or none. 7-1=0. BTS stands for B***h There’s Seven.
Although we don’t mean to we are giving solo stans an audience. If we don’t do something about it our fandom can and will start getting messy and we will lose control.
