Seattle’s leaders have enabled rape, assaults, murders, and the destruction of millions of dollars of private and civic property. I’m angry that they have caused so many people to become victims. 1/

Seattle’s leaders have championed racial justice, but many more black people are murdered and black and other minority businesses are damaged or destroyed. 2/

Seattle’s leaders say they care about homelessness by spending over $100 million dollars a year, but the squalor of homeless encampments is evident throughout Seattle’s parks, along major city roads, along the freeways and throughout the downtown. 3/

Mayor Jenny Durkan called CHAZ/CHOP a “Summer of Love”, but it led to the murders of 2 black teens, multiple rapes, and residents being too frightened to stay in their apartments. 4/

Seattle leaders who regularly denounce gun violence said nothing when a leader of CHOP handed out rifles from the back of his car, including to a probable teen who didn’t even know how to handle the gun. 5/

Seattle City Council cheered on the protests last summer even when they violently attacked police officers. A City Council member was live streaming at a protest when a man behind her shouted that police officers should put their guns in their mouths and blow their heads off. 6/

Council Member Mosqueda kept filming and even commented “the anger that you hear is justified.” 7/

The King County Attorney kept letting a frequent criminal back out on the streets, along with many other criminals, even after he assaulted random people on the streets and committed crimes against many other people. 8/

Finally, that man brutally beat his girlfriend in CHOP/CHAZ for weeks before viciously killing her and then himself. 9/

When dozens of Seattle police officers were injured, when a mob cemented the precinct door closed and tried to set the building full of police officers on fire, the Seattle City Council said NOTHING! 10/

Seattle’s mayor only ordered the occupied zone of CHAZ/CHOP to be cleared out when President Trump threatened to send in federal troops before July 4th to liberate the area. Trump cared more about stopping violence and destruction in Seattle than did Seattle’s leaders. 11/

During the anti-police protests and calls for defunding the police, the number of homicides in Seattle almost doubled in 2020, with 50% of the victims being African Americans. 12/

Completely ignoring the deadly consequences, the Seattle City Council keeps demanding further cuts to the police budget, even after those cuts and the disrespect the Council showed her push the African American police chief to resign. 13/

The same rioters have a violent “event” planned for Inauguration Day in Seattle, because Antifa doesn't want any president. Will Seattle’s leaders do anything to protect the city or are we in for further destruction, which disproportionately hurts minority businesses? 14/

With all this violence and destruction, the one-party dominated Washington State Legislature and the Governor are calling for more restrictions on police, including taking away most crowd-control tools used by law enforcement. 15/

Do we, the people of Washington, care if officers have no ability to stop a group of people rampaging through the streets, destroying everything in their paths? end/
