True story: a thread

I hated lending people music and movies. In high school I lended someone my nevermind album. It took me nearly a year to get it back. And once I got it back I decided to not really lend anybody anything anymore. Especially things I cared about. https://twitter.com/uren_marc/status/1350445475321802753
In college, I then let someone borrow a movie, like something impossible to record again. For the sake of the story, Meatballs 3 (trying to think of an “impossible to get” movie).
I was trying to be nice to a girl that I liked, and the next week I asked for it back....
And the girl let another friend borrow it. It was less than a week, and it already was given out! I was mad, I was 19, so I did what anyone would do.

That night I got in to her room and took all of her makeup. I left a note:
Basically, you’ll get your makeup back when I get..
My movie.

I got the movie back within 3 Hours.

The moral, if you truly love things, never lend them to anyone you’ve known for less than 6 months. (Unless it’s easily replaceable)
