The rioting psychos were calling for Pence to be punished. They were threatening him. They saw him as the ultimate traitor. They went searching for him. Because he did his job against the demands of his running mate and a giant, angry mob.
He resisted efforts to flee, not wanting to be driven from his office by a mob seeking to overturn the election. And when it was all over, he returned in the middle of the night to finish the job. Right after a violent mob rampaged through the Capitol trying to hunt him down.
But that will never be bold or brave enough for the CNN commentators whose biggest risk in their lives is too many backslaps from liberal colleagues, politicians, and celebrities.
