The german nation is gonna be 150 years old this year. this isn`t very old for a European Nation. germany had 3 empires (Reiche) and 2 Democratic Nations.

In ww2 the german reich or how it was now know the "Großgermanisches Reich" (Greater German Reich) was the biggest german state. the war ended in 1945 and germany got partioned under the winners of ww2

Now the BRD is the 4th biggest Economic Power in the world and the Nation with the highest income in Europe

Its a federal republic with 13 states and 3 city states
