CHIP VS STORMZY BEEFA thread.
Chip posted a video on twitter around October time showing Stormzy pulling up to his yard with about 3 other mans.
The girl who recorded the video, Ashley Rae, explained what happened. She said that Stormzy and 3 others came to the estate where Chip lives and forcefully made their way upto his apartment on the top floor.
Chip wasn't around at the time and his family were in his apartment. Stormzy was being aggressive to Chips family and so the family and neighbours called police. Stormzy and the goons then left the place.
This all took place around June time but chip didn't post the video until October. But why did Stormzy and Chip start beefing all of a sudden? Lets go a bit further back...
It all started when Chip released a joint album with Skepta and Young Adz called Insomnia. On there he had a tune called 'Waze'. A lot of people speculated that Chip took shots at Stormzy, sneek dissing.
I've heard the song and seen the bars. Some can be applied to Stormzy but its a bit of a reach. Stormzy was unsure at this moment. When he featured on a tune called 'I Dunno' he directly replied to the Chip tune, but didn't mention his name.
Fast forward to October 2020 when Chip dropped the video of Stormzy on his twitter, later that evening he dropped a diss track with visuals called 'Killer MC'.
10 minutes later... YES 10 MINUTES later, he dropped another diss with visuals called 'Flowers'. He directly dissed Stormzy, calling out his name.
The second diss track was a major blow to Stormzy. If you know Chip, you know, he doesn't do fake smiles. If he don't like you, he'll say it.
Chip is battle proven from previous beefs that he's had with Tinie Tempah, Bugzy Malone, and Yungen. All of which Chip won. It has also become a Chip trademark to shoot a diss video at a petrol station.
After this Stormzy was real quiet and didn't reply, which was leaving fans with loads of questions. Why reply to Wiley just months before but not to Chip. Wiley is the GOAT in Grime, but present Chip is way more dangerous lyrically.
After months of silence, Stormzy featured on a track with Ghetts called 'Skengman'. He sneak disses Chip again without mentioning his name. Ghetts had no idea.
Ghetts is also a Grime scene legend, and took to social media to reply to fans who asked if he was involved in this beef. Ghetts made it clear he has no sides.
Chip after hearing the Stormzy feature released a new diss track called '10 Commandments' within 17hours with visuals.
Chips absolutely thrashed Stormzy with his latest disstrack and leaves fans eagerly awaiting for Stormzy's reply.
