Doesn't matter your views on #TPLF leadership (I never fancied them and they have a bigger share in the ongoing catastrophe in #Tigray), but what we are witnessing in #Tigray is too appalling to ignore.

Lately the world has been shocked with systemic persecutions of #Rohingya in #Myanmar and #Uyghurs in #China (still did not end).
If not for the information blackout, a similar level of systemic persecution is taking place that targets #Tigray and #Tegaru in #Ethiopia. (2)

Who is to blame?
1. #TPLF leadership that not only failed to avert it, but rather fueled it with their obvious miscalculations.

Who carries the burden?
1. #Tigray'ans first and foremost.
2. #Ethiopia'n people at large and #Amahara in particular who are now conditioned to live in animosity (fear) with their neighbors and brothers/sisters.

What is the most disconcerting part of it?
1. Many people are afraid to call this out, justifying as if this would amount to supporting #TPLF and its previous policies.
2. Many think this is war with #TPLF and are oblivious about the people's sufferings. (5)

You do not have to be a journalist, an activist, member of a civil society or whose family members/friends directly affected by this senseless war to condemn it.

Unfortunately,

This vicious cycle of violence and revenge would follow the Sisyphean task and would go on and on and on and on and on... on many levels for generations.
