I’m a HUGE @sammywatkins fan but I knew this year probably wouldn’t be his year. Simply put, he had an incentive based contract and for some reason that’s only executed if you’re a franchise pick! Over the past years, he hasn’t been “their guy”. We all know what he’s capable of—

It just seems like he chose the Chiefs and they let him down. I feel really bad for him because he’s a really good guy! Wish everyone the best but Sammy has to be appreciated somewhere that needs him more! #TIGERBYHEART

I don’t want to point fingers but the Chiefs didn’t have his best interest, sadly. There’s no way he shouldn’t have been prepared for this game. It’s as if someone is out to make him look bad — idk just my way of thinking! Obviously, some people would say otherwise.
