Not sure if this is understood fully, so here goes.

Kids can CARRY Covid into nursery and spread it to adults.

If a kid in my room tests positive for Covid, I have to isolate for 2 weeks on SSP. (No furlough pay)

I can't get a Covid test unless I lie and say I have symptoms.
In theory I can lie, get a test and when it comes back negative, go back to work.
But I've already lost a week's wages at this point.

I'm the meantime, I live with my parents and am putting them at risk (or nervous at the minimum)
So, is anything in this situation designed to halt Covid?

Or is it that Nursery workers are seen as unskilled, disposable workers compared to the economy/company profits?
I love my job.
I love my nursery kids.

I understand that parents REALLY need childcare.
But will someone please acknowledge the danger we nursery workers are being put in.
