In 1999, Eminem's mum sued him for $10,000,000 after alleging that he slandered her as a drug addict in his lyrics from The Slim Shady LP.

She received a settlement of $1,600 after court costs.
Eminem's first run-in with the law was at 20 years old when he was arrested for his involvement in a drive-by shooting with a paintball gun.
The only book Eminem has read in full is LL Cool J's 'I Make My Own Rules'.
