I want y’all to stop slandering the East, instead come out here help clean this shit up. Start a business out here, buy a house out here. Own something out here. Lots of opportunity for blacks in N.O. East. Everything we like in other cities can be done in the N.O. East by US.
That was on my mind this morning, it’s 6:05am. We gotta get to this money and stop complaining and do for self.
N.O. East is the most populated area in New Orleans and the most neglected/ underserved part of New Orleans. Stop fighting for crumbs uptown, downtown, and Mid-City and come make a loaf and make a difference out here in the East.
We complain about gentrification, but think about it like this. The white man is willing to move into the ghetto, because he understands the power of ownership. He also understand how to protect his investment. I’ll elaborate.
Once educated white ppl move into a inner city neighborhood they don’t tolerate a lot of stuff we run from. They legit will move into the ghetto and and bully the block, with intent to increase their wealth my increasing the value of the property.
I say all that to say, gentrify your own neighborhood, don’t hate when others take advantage of an opportunity that we ignored. N.O. east is 95% black and we don’t have anything because us blacks are looking for someone else to save us.
