Thread: I have been silently watching this his whole saga of the #metoo movement & how one man out of the whole country has been maligned by his own friends who I’ve personally witnessed being all over him at parties, used him to boost their image, business & careers. #AliZafar
I’ve been trying to coop with the fact that the world can be so cruel where people use you as and when they like and when you no longer wish to associate with them or distance yourself they can go to this extent of vindictiveness that they want you destroyed and finished. #MeToo
You guys would rush to his house to hang with him & his wife @AyeshaFazli, travel the world with him, post your pictures praising & thanking him for his generosities & kindness. Travel alone with him to Mumbai to party with Bollywood stars. Ask him to endorse you and your work.
When he was opening his house, his heart and the world to you, he was the best guy in the world. Him and @AyeshaFazli were your “best friends” like family. But when they found out your lies, double standards & hypocrisy and ousted your from their lives, chalo g time for #MeToo
And it’s not just me. Everybody in the circle knows this but are scared to talk because of the twitter lynch mob. Everyone knows that this is not for any cause, rather a few friends getting together to use their privilege and a global movement teach him a lesson. #MeToo
But I am not scared. I am a survivor myself and I know what it feels like! So don’t you dare come threaten and bully me. Don’t you dare silence or judge me for speaking out for this man & those poor women whose cause has been hijacked by these spoilt, privileged, rich brats !
The cause is right. The people championing it are the worst possible spokespersons it could have in Pakistan. Which is why it is suffering. When you don’t have personal credibility, how can you give credibility to such a beautiful cause. #MeToo
I want to ask these people, forget him, did you ever think for second about Ayesha (your friend) and the little children? What they must’ve gone through? His daughter? His mother? Are they not women?Don’t you feel any remorse in what you have done? Don’t you have any conscience?
Even if one has an issue with someone there are 1000 ways to address it. Forums to go to. But you deliberately chose social media so you could ruin a self made man and his entire life’s work in a minute. You just couldn’t stand that he was so respected, successful and loved.
Now you can’t accept the fact that your plan didn’t work & he survived. He saved himself & his family and exposed you. He kept winning and people love him more than ever. THAT is what you call a SURVIVOR! Must be hard to digest. But guess what. You lost. He won. Deal with it!
