I said in the last match thread that Blasters started with a 4-2-3-1 line-up. Today it was the same, but I didn't feel it was the same. Kibu used the Great Hansi Flick's formation. Hats-off to @krishg1990 for pin-pointing it in the last match review thread itself.

It's 4-2-2-2. We talked about our front 4 being versatile, this formation is also versatile. According to situations it can change to 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-1-4-1, 4-4-1-1, 3-5-2, 3-4-2-1 etc. But for this you need players able to adjust to this, KB players have proved themselves

We are improving bit by bit. Individual mistakes have been reduced to an extent. Defensively, Costa has taken it on his shoulders. Costa-Sandeep pair seems to be very stable. Their biggest achievement is Locking down Bright, Maghoma, steinman.

Yesterday, we had a completely different Game-plan. All the players were given Man-to-Man marking duties. Defensively talking, CB's took control of the Zone 14. Nishu took care of Bright, Jessel took care of Maghoma, and Jeakson took care of Steinman.

This match Kibu nd staff's analysis were on point. SCEB came in with a 3-man Defense nd kept a high-line. I think so, the high line was meant to be an Offside-trap. But if you see, KB's move was to make use of this in transitions.

We could see quick movements from KB's side. Mainly through the use of long balls. Facundo Pereyra and Sandeep were the main ones to provide these. Knowing there will be Offside traps, most of the long balls were diagonal. Which provided the Space and Time.

Murray made runs in between lines, his first touch has improved drastically. His finish also needs to be improved. He is young and time will show us the results. Hooper and Murray combination has only provided good news to us

We saw much bombardment from the wingbacks yesterday. Nishu had his best game in yellow yesterday. He alone showed others how to keep Bright quite for the whole 90 mins. All of the KB players had a very good coordination between them.

When wingbacks overlapped, the wingers covered the flank. A very high intensity game right from the first half. We never allowed them into our Half during the first 45 mins. We applied a Mid-Block preventing them from building-up their attacks.

Substitutions were made as a precaution. With the intensity that they were playing, hamstring pull, calf- muscle injury could have probably happened. I wouldn't say spot on but as a precaution it's fine.

Sahal was excellent yesterday, a key factor behind all the build-ups. He is improving with a large margin. Vicente is showing us that he can play anywhere on the field and be a pillar of Kerala Blasters.

Though we didn't see Jeakson much on the ball, it doesn't mean he wasn't involved in the play. He is a Catalyst in the squad. We will understand his importance only when he is not there.

Everything changed after the Goal. We fielded a Low-Block, intensity decreased. We allowed them to enter into our Half often. It was like we gifted them chances. I believe even the corner was the after-effect of this mindset

We lost the ball more often after the goal. We could have held the ball more often and build-up attacks slowly, wasting time and not giving them any chances
