Yes! I often find that people's idea of Tourette's is so dramatic. And it certainly *can* be dramatic (mine is atm), but for some people, it's not even a disability. As in it doesn't have to affect your daily life at all to count as Tourette's. https://twitter.com/hipsterelectron/status/1350324786832973824
You literally only have to have 3 tics to have Tourette's, less to have a tic disorder. And you don't even have to have those tics at the same time.

You don't have to swear or shout. You don't even have to say words. Most cases of Tourette's are incredibly mild.
If you twitch and don't know why, I would look into it. Do some careful research and talk to other people with Tourette's. I would especially suspect TS or another tic disorder if you have ADHD or OCD because those often come along with tics along with other disorders.
Speaking of which, I see some misinformation that tics are a symptom of things like OCD and ADHD. I'm no professional, but my research tells me that's not true. OCD and ADHD are a symptom of Tourette's and other tic disorders.
And if you have tics, but no other comorbids diagnosed, I would look up all the common comorbids of TS and see if any sound like you, talk to a doctor if you can. While most people have fairly mild tics that aren't that impactful, 90% of people with TS have another
condition that comes with it that's usually more debilitating.

So yeah, don't dismiss your tics if you have them. They don't have to be serious to be Tourette's. And even if they're not what impact you, other aspects of having a tourettic brain might.
And you deserve that information about your brain if you want it and to get support and accommodations whenever you need it.
