Gavi is an international organisation created in 2000 to improve access to new and underused vaccines for children living in the world's poorest countries. Its essentially high income countries doing chipeleganyu and paying the cost of vaccines for low income countries

So in this category countries like us are required to finance a small proportion of is the vaccine cost equivalent to US$0.20 per dose of all vaccines requiring co-financing. If a dose is US$5, we pay 20 cents. as your economy improves you foot a bigger portion of the bill
Malawi has had an average GNI pc of US$350 for a long time, Our latest is 411 according to the World Bank. so we are not making it out of the hood soon, evidently. So we have to ask for funding or simply people die of vaccine preventable diseases

Well Mr Gates is one of, if not the biggest, financer to Gavi. His proportion of Chipeleganyu contributions dwarfs that of actual rich countries. To put it simply, he has saved more lives than any doctor ever will.
