Thought of making my first thread on the game with KBFC vs SCEB. I'm not well versed with tactical analysis but this is more of like what a crazy fanboy would see and analyse on the TV screen. Let's start:
KBFC vs SCEB - Thoughts and Analysis
KBFC continued with a 4-4-2 formation with his best players available. Kibu, knowing the quality of players in opposition, had thought of a plan. The plan was to use man-marking to the full extent. A high intensity game which ended in a draw.

1st half:
Facundo in left, Sahal in right. Both were involved in pressing their respective strikers and wingbacks. You can see it during a transition from def-attack where Jessel being ahead of Facundo many times.
Sometimes, when opposition has the ball, we press with 2 men.

Regarding the defence, having Costa-Sandeep wall helped us so much. Sandeep knowing what to do in 1-1 scenarios and Costa clearing the opposition crosses as a def cover. Even our full backs were involved in clearing the ball.
Attacking wise, it was during the counter attacks that Murray and Hooper shined. Usually cleared balls reaches to Vicente or Jeakson and is passed directly to the two strikers.
It was a game of concentration. Whoever loses the concentration has a higher chance of conceding the goal. We were successful by not giving clear chances to any of their strikers. That's the main reason why our miss-passes was low.
2nd half:
Wingers shifted their positions. Played with same intensity as first half. This was where the setback happened, Facundo changed with Puitea. This was expected as he focused on both attack & def, fitness came into question.

SCEB played a high def line, Albino, having full intention of passing to Murray helped us get the lead. Murray had an open wound after that goal which was another setback. His mobility will drastically reduce. We played this game with full intention to win rather than a draw.
Jessel - Juande, Murray - Rohit, Sahal - Rahul subs were done because of this high intensity game. The lack of an Indian striker as a backup prevented us to attack with the same style and were forced to change our style to counter attack.
Regarding freekick for Puitea to Rohit, a beautiful curl which was controlled by Rohit in an open net scenario. A 50-50 chance of goal, if delayed much further opposition defence could clear it easily.
Overall, this was one of those games which was dominated by KBFC in both halves but was unlucky with an equalizer goal. Don't blame Rahul for the clearance, because it was never his fault tbh. He'll learn from his mistake similar to Jeakson's own goal.
Appreciation tweet:
Sahal - for his workrate, ball holding and sensible decision making.
Facundo - for being consistent, proper setpiece taker, curler.
Hooper and Murray - Always there for each other all the time.

I might have missed some points so I'll say sorry in advance. You could give me suggestions and advices on how I could improve further and also improve my game reading skills.
