2 things: If you're coming to my concerts on the 5th or 6th of Feb, thank you! I thoroughly encourage you to listen to my #ApartTogetherAlbum. Unlike with my punchliney stuff, you'll get more out of the gig (& the wonderful new orchestrations)

... if you know the tunes. Secondly, I was told that someone rang up @6PR a couple of days ago upset that I (or "an artist doing the opening of the Perth Festival" or something) have been allowed into WA without quarantining. This is incorrect! I am in Perth now, in a house,
... quarantining for 2 weeks, having filled out G2G forms and done everything by the letter. I've had to discard most of my musos & crew, so will be rehearsing with local talent so that I can fulfil my commitment to the @perthfest. I am hugely sympathetic to people who can't get

... reason I was given this exemption - I presume - is because the Perth Festival is seen as a cultural event worth supporting. I would much rather *not* quarantine for 2 weeks for just 2 nights' work(!) but am happy to do so, because opening the festival is an honour, & because
... I don't cancel gigs. Also, these concerts will generate income and enjoyment and jobs. I'm stoked to be here, and can't wait to see you in King's Park. xxx
