If you’re working at a major tech company and interested in making a move to crypto but feel uncertain / don’t know how to navigate the space, DM me and I’m happy to help answer any questions
So far got a ton of interest including software engineers at Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft who spend a lot of their spare time on crypto but just haven't made the move yet. Makes me even more optimistic about crypto :)
A common concern is wanting more company/job security but there are large, established companies in crypto like Coinbase, Gemini, Kraken, etc so it can be a smoother transition. Some concerns about salary but many crypto teams are well funded and offer competitive tech salaries
I'm also getting a ton of questions about whether there are non-eng roles available and yes there are many! Seems a lot of interest in sales, BD, marketing roles in which case I recommend looking at some companies that cater to institutional clients like Anchorage
Been getting questions on how to get immersed in the dev community and I've been recommending trying out hackathons like ETHGlobal. Great place to meet devs and interesting projects as well as learn more about tooling/ecosystem
Had a few ask about recommended resources for better understanding crypto and I've been pointing to a16z crypto canon as a wonderful resource to start with https://a16z.com/2018/02/10/crypto-readings-resources/
Regarding questions on how to stand out to crypto projects, always highly recommend demonstrating your interest and passion in the project. Could be contributing to open source, hackathons, participating in their Discord channel, or producing content like tweets or a blog post
