• i obviously don't know every wlw anime ever, so if u have any suggestions pls dm me!!

• these aren't all canon! some of these are just wlw subtext! that's why i'll be separating them in two categories: undertones and canon

for each anime, i'll say whether it's light (very low wlw content), medium, or heavy (very canon very much)

one important thing the summary doesn't mention is the fact that maina (the idol) has a huge crush on eripiyo (her fan) but is too shy to tell her

she accidentally falls into a harem, and now all her friends are in love with her!! this includes the girls too !! its very canon i really recommend it

5. carole & tuesday (undertones/light)

this one isn't really wlw but they're a singing duo and they live together and they love eachother a lot. there are canon wlw characters in the show tho!!

6. asagao to kase-san (canon/heavy)

super soft movie about soft gfs !!!

• yuri, comedy, romance

7. mahou shoujo madoka magica (undertones/medium)

all sapphics should watch this anime at least once in their life

• psychological horror, fantasy, action, drama

8. liz and the blue bird (canon/kinda medium kinda heavy)

one of the best wlw movies out there!! it's visually stunning, the storytelling is amazing and the soundtrack??? CHEF'S KISS

9. fragtime (canon/heavy)

tbh i didn't like this one as much as the other ones but the ending makes up for it!! y'all should still watch it anyways i think it's worth it

this one's super soft and cute!! also v funny!!

• yuri, romance, slice of life

19. revolutionary girl utena (canon/heavy)

it's an amazing show but it does cover a lot of content which people might find triggering, so if u do decide to watch it, please be aware of this!! i recommend looking up the triggers. i would add them here but the list is too long
