I think org is either ridiculously mistaken in evaluating their own D or just shafting Yandle here somewhat out of spite over last few years of poor play.

There is real aggro sentiment both on twitter but surprisingly within the front office as well directed at players who have been on the team for the past few years of futility.
Poor performers under contract (Stralman, Bobrovsky, Hornqvist) won't get the same scrutiny because fans of Florida haven't developed the same emotional resentment.
