feminists weren't AWARE that they were doing the age-old woman-trick of controlling men's behavior using emotional manipulation dressed up as political moralism. they just DID it. they thinned the gene pool without even KNOWING that's what they were doing.
anarchists weren't aware they were helping the democratic party to brand the working class as fascist and to reinvigorate the NGO Actionist Industrial Complex by LARPING in the streets all summer. They just DID it. all intentions, no thought to the outcomes. enacting models.
the boatdealers who did the Chudsurrection weren't AWARE they were helping dems install a totalitarian surveillance/censorship regime that would silence, demonize and marginalize them. they just DID it without thinking. they just LARPED the Boston Tea Party or whatever. models.
the scariest thing about this is that if and when we DO get a new form of centrist fascism, an invisible totalitarian center-left Woke Police State so insidious you don't even notice it until it's too late, the ppl who made this happen WON'T EVEN BE AWARE THAT THEY'RE DOING IT
when DSA "organizers" "organize" the "working class" to work FREE for the Democratic Party, they're doing this UNAWARE that they're doing it. this is why they get salty when you point it out. you're fucking with their fantasy, the simulacrum of "labor organizing" they're building
20th century fascists were all too AWARE of every single thing they were doing and of all the possible outcomes from their actions. this is why they gained so much power so quickly. they weren't enacting models, they were CREATING new models using self-awareness of outcomes
but 21st century fascism will enact itself UNCONSCIOUSLY, no one will know that they're enacting old models unawares, that their intentions are impossible to line up with their intended outcomes. they're like late-period Soviet actors, enacting outdated models, simulations
