This week was my last week at the Daily News. I’m so deeply thankful for the great friends and colleagues I’ve got to know over the course of three years running around the city, and even more thankful for the people who trusted me and let me tell their stories
I can’t thank people enough—from the editors, reporters & photographers at the News to the ones from other papers & stations in the field, to the press secs & neighbors wanting to tell you something, to the gas station & deli workers letting me use their cameras & bathrooms
Sincerely, thank you to all and I can’t wait to keep working with you in the future.

That being said, everyone does this, so here’s a thread of some of my favorite stories/pics/moments from when I first interned in 2017
A mom trying to explain how her son couldn’t have stolen a 95lb tortoise from Alley Pond Park because he’s scrawny: feat me typing in the Queens Criminal Court http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/queens/suspected-tortoise-thief-mom-case-ridiculous-article-1.3378118
Before Covid, when none of us minded getting a little too close with each other at an ICE facility http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/ny-pol-immigration-detention-center-ice-20180617-story.html
Of course, the protests
Thanks for the memories
