It's impossible to pick just one goal as my favourite by Rooney but the third in our 4-2 win at Goodison, after being 2-0 down with half an hour to play, is definitely up there. The composure here, when the pressure was on, against his boyhood team, is unreal.
In terms of what I think is his best goal, I know there'll be shouts for the City one, but for me the Newcastle goal was even better. The way he was chewing off the ref's ear immediately before hand, fuming, and then just wallops it. This is maybe the best I've seen from anyone.
2006-07 is one of my favourite seasons, if not the favourite after 92-93. While the 2nd leg of this one was crap, the feeling when this goal went in was immense. Injury time, had been 2-1 down, first time at the near post
He looked so overwhelmed in his celebration. Loved it.

The audacity to take on a finish like this and pull it off, 10 minutes after City had equalised, to keep us at the top of the league, is impressive. Remember the debate raged on about whether he shinned it. Nahhhh.
This goal was a blessing and a curse. Scored a perfect chip against Boro... then spent the rest of his career trying to emulate it, regardless of how inappropriate it was
What a finish though.

What I loved about this goal, an equaliser scored in the 94th minute, is that he knows he's just become the all-time top scorer at United but barely celebrates because he wants the ball so the team can go for a winner.
