The page in question held on the university website suggests there is no problems with the gender identity clinics and has not been amended after the criticism by the court in Bell v Tavistock.
The page in question queries a use of the expression reasonable concerns, and appears oblivious to the single sex protections n the Equality Act.
The page in question appears to suggest that holding particular views regarding amendment to the General Recognition Act 2004 and by implication positions enshrined in law in the Equality Act 2010 is equivalent to ati semitism and Islamophobia
My employer defends the page and in the Scotsmen article is quoted as saying "We are committed to defending freedom of speech and expression, as long as it is carried out within the law and in a respectful manner."
I am not completely sure that a Web page on the university website which appears to imply that agreeing with the current law is bigotry akin to antisemitism and Islamophobia is particularly respectful to a legitimate policy argument.
Very disappointed in my employer here.
