On February 21st 2019, PSYCHODRAMA was formally announced with release of the single Black. The song was released with a music video, directed by Dave and Nathan James Tettey.
On March 3rd 2019, the tracklist for the album was released. Features were confirmed from Burna Boy, J Hus and Ruelle. The album was scheduled for release March 8th 2019.
