I'd like to highlight a player in #Rovers youth development ranks that I'm a fan of, and that's Isaac Whitehall.
Having spent time training with the first team, signing a pro deal in January 2020, here's an introduction to the young former Barrow player

Where does he play? Well like many of #Rovers youth development graduates, he's quite versatile. Time at right-back, centre-back and in midfield have given him experience in a wide range of positions, and a wide ranging skill set that definitely helps him stand out at youth level
I've got a comparison here of some young Rovers midfielders, including John Buckley (only U18's and U23's data has been taken into account here).
You can see that Isaac definitely has some strong points, and in this thread I'll be showing you some video data too.

As mentioned in the last slide, Isaac when compared to the likes of Harlock & Buckley is slightly more of a conservative passer, however you can see from a few clips here that he does possess a nice range of passing ability.
The assist against Liverpool from RB is a great cross.

However a huge strong point is definitely defensive positioning. Whether he's at RB, CB or in midfield, he's very often in the right place at the right time, which is key for inexperienced, younger, defensive minded players.
Right place, right time. #BRFC
