They have both been watching a lot of cricket over the holidays/lockdown and as Subscription TV is accessible and cricket it discussed a fair amount- they love it & consume it daily. The players that they have picked in their world squads- are largely down to watching them on TV
There passion for cricket is obvious and they have access to cricket from a young age in a variety of places, clubs etc and playing the game. But most often (in terms of consumption) they see it on TV....
The pay TV debate has gone on for years and has been a hot topic in terms of the need for free to air cricket etc and the need for it being substantial. I certainly wouldn’t have consumed cricket the way I did had it not been on terrestrial TV growing up...
