#vaughan parking lot full at luxury furniture manufacturer on Chrislea. Is this essential ⊠@mbmayorâ© ? But youâll ticket kids sledding
Another manufacturer nearby. Filled parking lot overspill into road. Is this essential??? #vaughan
Another @fordnation donor developer Still open, office parking full
Of course @fordnation biggest donor. Front parking limited. But cars parked around sides of the building
Letâs cross over highway 400. Shall we?
Ok. So these are individual businesses near the Vaughan subway. The line of cars? From construction workers at the new condos and overfill from parking lots
More offices and manufacturing. Lots filled #vaughan near Millway
Who new shades and window coverings were essential? #vaughan #ticketKidsSledding @mbmayor @fordnation
And the core donor @fordnation Ont medal of honour recipient. Howâs his office lot?
Another random business off Applewood in Vaughan. Donât even know what they do. But theyâre open and the lot is full!!
Letâs head over to the big area of industrial near creditstone. Shall we?
This lot is actually so big. I couldnât get it in a while shot because thereâs so many cars
parked in the street

A group of workers. Only one wearing a mask (wrongly). Out for a smoke break. You canât smoke wearing a mask. #NoSleddingForYouKid #vaughan
Another #vaughan developer office. Parking lot busy. Many Cars parked near back out of view from the road
So what did we discover? That children sledding & skating is dangerous in spreading Covid. But large manufacturing & offices in #vaughan with many employees in non-essential work are considered safe?
This is why Vaughan still has traffic, gridlock in the mornings. Because our city hasnât shut down. We are Open For Business!!! But not sledding or skating, you pesky kids!
And? Like every other manufacturer that isnât essential. Parking lot full We all stopped our lives. Our kids are having a rough time. But even the Premierâs family is still making money
I do this for a business run by a local family who weâve used for decades. They closed down. They just had a baby. The elderly grandmother did all the repairs in the back of the shop. Theyâre having a rough time. This all is unfair
I bet you though all non-essential businesses were closed, didnât you? Theyâre not. Just the small ones. Quebec is at least looking into it https://www.cp24.com/news/quebec-threatens-construction-manufacturing-sectors-with-more-covid-19-restrictions-1.5268566
*thought
This is a list of the businesses photographed. They are allowed to be open. Ford hasnât restricted any of them. Thereâs many many more that I saw. I havenât even visited West Woodbridge on the Brampton border. They are all open at capacity
For media: These photos were taken at about noon today, Jan 15/21. Businesses in Corcord/Woodbridge are open and working at capacity from Monday -Friday. The industrial areas only become empty/quiet
...on weekends
The Mayor of Vaughan is leading based on @fordnation majority & his own donors. Itâs why number of covid are high. If heâd just demand the province put in rapid mobile testing centres in industrial areas our numbers would come down
tied politically because the liberal provincial party was kneecapped. That party is also kneecapped by these same industrial & developer owners. Itâs why we wonât escape any covid growth. Theyâd rather blame kids & families than manufacturing w/500 employees in a small space
Families are not to blame. Minimum paid employees at these large manufacturing places, ignored by @fordnation w/no testing is the cause of spread. Please RT this thread. We wonât escape this virus unless this is widely known
These industrial/construction/developer owners have suffered little economic pain. The rest of us are living day to day , many in bankruptcy. @fordnation is protecting his donors. They are not effected. They run free with no restrictions
All these pics of full parking lots in industrial areas are testament to @fordnation protecting these owners, purposefully not gathering workplace spread at the cost of small business & blaming families for the spread from these enormous workplace spread
