This is also a clear case of trying to move the argument from "Here are the facts, therefore we should..." to a frankly Trumpian denial of reality. Everyone on the left can see how destructive this is of liberal societies when Trump does it. It's harder to see when lefties do it. https://twitter.com/chasestrangio/status/1349722419179622404
Strangio is trying to hack the "should" by hijacking "the facts."

TWAW, and biological women to boot, therefore they belong in women's sports... https://twitter.com/elizamondegreen/status/1328770327682412545
This would work quite well if it were true in any meaningful sense or at least *more* true than it is a perversion of language and wholesale abandonment of meaning everyone in the history of the world understood until five minutes ago. https://twitter.com/elizamondegreen/status/1328770331503366147
TWAW is a claim to the power to redefine reality, rather than a claim about what's true. https://twitter.com/elizamondegreen/status/1349823154814910465
Since it's indefensible in argument (and so an odd claim for a lawyer to cling to so desperately), those who insist on evidence for TWAW must be intimidated into silence, or driven from the arena altogether.
This kind of claim is an open wound on liberal societies. Strangio is free to believe whatever Strangio wants. But when it comes to public debates, engagement with reality matters: Facts first, then arguments ("therefore, we shoulds") from the facts. https://twitter.com/elizamondegreen/status/1328770328764542984
To be fair, I admit it's hard to make a case *from the facts* for destroying female sports. So I get the bind Strangio is in. But it's still shameful behavior for a public figure.
