#OneNightInMiami
is out today on @PrimeVideo and I know many of you will watch it, so I wanted to share some of the photos I took at the Historic Hampton House, the real-life setting of where the events took place.

Here are photos of the actual room where the four men stayed, along with some photographs that now hang around the room of Ali and Malcolm. It has now become an exhibit for visitors to view.
This is Miami New Drama’s set of the stage play, which was donated to the Hampton House and is now on display at the exhibit. Michel Hausmann, founder of Miami New Drama, told me they felt “it was important that the Hampton House was the fifth character in the play.”
A fun fact I learned at the House is that Dr. Martin Luther King was a frequent visitor. This was his room. It is said that he rehearsed an early version of his “I Have a Dream” speech here in Miami, at the motel, for a small audience, three years before he delivered it in D.C.
If you’d like to know a lot more about the film, the play it derived from, and the history behind the Historic Hampton House - including the night Cassius Clay celebrated his big win, read this article I wrote for @TheMiamiTimes https://www.miamitimesonline.com/lifestyles/four-legends-spend-one-night-in-miami/article_790fadb0-504f-11eb-8da6-4711f5a3cab7.html
