Many think the best way to achieve this growth is from the top-down, with incentives & famous people/prestigious institutions buying in. I’ve always felt a bit differently. That there’s untapped strength in the movement for more rapid, open science in its grass roots passion

I think each & every one of us can influence those around us & light thousands of little fires of progress right where we are. We can normalize different values. We can reclaim power we always had but voluntarily abdicate. And we can share all the benefits with our colleagues
