1. U don’t go around suffixing a job title to your name when you officially don’t have that job yet.

2. You’d expect at least 1 Zoom call with the faculty head if you’re hired. Even students do those. Names of dept heads & their pics are on the website. It’s elementary.

3. Quite surprising why anyone would give out login details for their social media profiles EVEN IF they assumed the job was the real deal.

4. That you’d have no facetime with your dept head for 7 months is extraordinary. Even weirder when the dept doesn’t even exist.

Don’t have to be mean about someone’s misery. That’s shit behavior.

But you can still legit question how a veteran journalist of 21 yrs can be so unaware of these red flags when fact checking is literally a core part of your job.
