I’d love to see some of the men on my timeline and in my social circles genuinely read some romance novels. A whole bunch. Go learn about suspense & tension. And I mean cover to cover. Non-horror. Non-scifi. Straight up good fun romance with a “meet cute” and steamy sex and all.
Men should read more “trashy” romance and learn the art of character development and class act tension.

Also: to be clear I’m not trying to dictate what anyone reads or does or forcing anyone into reading sexy things or making you subject yourselves to sexual content you don’t deem fit for you.

And I’m glad so many folks have been encouraging others to try a new genre and read diversely and are investigating “hey maybe I did read this genre and don’t know it! COOL!” I just hate seeing people trashing whole genres when there’s good things to learn is all 
It’s okay to not like things or what have you! I’m not the law of Booklandia or anything like that. I don’t want to dictate how y’all enjoy things. I’m just suggesting more men should try this genre because it’s good reading, and might surprise yall.
