Manga spoilers ahead
When we are first introduced to Mikasa, we see how overtly protective she is of Eren. She thinks it's her responsibility to shield him and strongly believes that Eren will die if she wasn't with him.
When the trost district is attacked and Eren is sent first to fight Titans, Mikasa is seen insisting that she go with him, instead of the assigned task of protecting the civilians until Eren gives her a reality check.
In female titan arc we see her and Levi chasing after Annie when she gets Eren. Here also Mikasa is desperate but once Levi practically forces her to back off and stay with him which she has no choice but to do follow.
Although she is reluctant and becomes reckless later which causes levi to injure his legs but tiny steps right? This was a start.
Reiner and Bertholt kidnap Eren in S2 and here also she is shown desperate to save him but after Hannes motivational words she calms down and march with other sc members instead of trying to run off on her own like always. That doesn't mean she is any less eager to reach him.
In chp 50 when Eren protected her, I feel like here is when big change happened in her nature. For the first time Mikasa suffers such serious injury where she is physically incapable of protecting him and this time Eren took the lead. This also must have made her realise that +
they need to rely on each other and she can't always expect to save Eren on her own. This was a much needed awakening for her.
And it becomes obvious that she has changed as when Eren gets kidnapped in uprising arc (Seriously again
) instead of becoming desperate, she obeys Levi and encourages others to do the same. Here she works as a team with everyone instead of just+

rushing headfirst like she used to before. By now she has begun to place her trust in others as well and this is a big feat for someone like her who is so closed off.
Now in return of shiganshina arc, Mikasa is shown to put her belief in Armin and Eren as they go off on their own to fight colossal while she instead of being distracted coz of her best friends, focuses on taking down armored titan only. It's only after everything is wrapped+
up there that she goes to her boys. From someone who thought she was the only one who could protect Eren from death, she went to a girl who relied on everyone including Eren to take care of himself and realised that she was not alone anymore.
After timeskip when fight with wh happens, you could already see the drastic change as she merely assists Eren in keeping the Titan occupied while he comes up with strategy. She lets Eren take the lead because she believes in his capability now. They fight as a team here +
For the first time instead of her shielding him. It was little by little but she learned to work with others and got over her possessiveness of him. She loves him so she will always feel the need to protect him but she isn't the same girl who used to coddle him anymore.
Even in 136 we see her going with Annie instead of trying to stop the others when they decide to blow eren's head. She knows the priority right now is to stop the rumbling and she would be better suited to save Armin than going after Eren.
After timeskip Mikasa and Eren were rarely together and we see her bond with 104, warriors, kiyomi etc. Eren will always be a big part of her character arc due to her love for him but saying that her whole being revolves around him is wrong.
Mikasa has already gotten independent from Eren as isayama said in an interview and the seperation between the two has already happened. However isayama also said in same interview that for Mikasa being with eren is a wonderful thing so it remains to be seen.
It will be very interesting to see how her character arc concludes in remaining three chapters.

Ps: This isn't a thread for whether or not she has given up on Eren so don't bring that under it. It's simply to show how unlike before she has learned to lean on others and doesn't clinge to Eren like she used to. That doesn't undermine her love for him. She has just gone mature
