A common misconception about fixed stars, is the idea of a single star and “eminence/fame”.

First... that’s like saying because one planet is uber dignified and angular that a person will reach eminence/fame, disregarding all other chart factors.

You have a chart full of many different stars, and they all work together (to varying degrees of success or challenge) to underpin the story of your life. There’s also transits and timing activations to take into account.

It’s more nuanced than one single star.

Second, our idea of eminence/fame is very different from the ancients. “International eminence/fame” was so incredibly rare to the ancients.

When they refer to eminence/fame, it’s within the context of the spaces you are present within. In most cases regional.

3/7
Even in today’s world of digital hyper connectivity, this is still true. If you’re a makeup blogger, you’re known within that space. If you’re an astrologer, you’re generally known within that space. If you’re a tech titan your space might be a little bigger.

4/7
It also comes back to context. Every culture/generation worships different things—yes, even a secular culture.

Today’s culture widely worships technology, convenience, outrage, and beauty/youth.

It is easier to reach eminence within these spheres because...

5/7
...because these are topics/things circulated within the world’s news sources at disproportionate rates. It’s worth asking if you want to feed into that paradigm, but that’s another conversation.

Although *DESIRE* (or lack thereof) for eminence/fame is yet another factor!

6/7
The point is that eminence can happen at different levels, and it’s not guaranteed even with a very well placed star (or planet) because you are not made of a singular star (or planet).

There are layers of context + nuance when considering the possibility of eminence/fame.
