I feel like my position is getting more "extreme" in some eyes by still opposing any lockdown. But I am immensely worried about where compliance is leading us. I prefer to be paranoid, speak out and then be proven wrong than stay silent, hope for the best and it ends up worse.
I still maintain that any restrictions should not be enforced by law, either for businesses or individuals. Adults need to be treated like adults, and for a mild virus for almost everyone, it is disproportionate and unnecessary to curb basic freedoms.
In my opinion the scientific evidence doesn't favour lockdown, but lockdown isn't a scientific question, it's an ethical question.
It is never right to criminalise people for wanting to live a normal life or to quarantine healthy people.
