Far from making Britain the “best place in the world to work” as they promised the electorate, they intend to double down on long hours, low pay and insecure work which will only undermine the economy, further exploit workers and worsen the prospects of their families.
Under the Tories working people across the UK have endured years of low pay, long working hours and fragile, insecure and unprotected work, for far too long. Key workers have been slogging their guts out right through this crisis and this is how they’re repaid?
As it was in 1945, from the rubble of the Second World War, there was then and there is right now, a real & unified determination to emerge from this catastrophic pandemic into a better world & a better deal for working people, not one that is worse as the Tories now propose.
The battle lines are clearly drawn and this is going to be the mother of all fights. This is an attack on all working people and their families and it goes to the heart and soul of the country we want to be.
The divide couldn’t be clearer. The Tories pursue this attack on working people & their families at their peril. The Labour & Trade Union movement will galvanise working people across the land to fight this all the way for a better future & be in no doubt Mr Johnson, we will win.
