Mistakes totally happen and they pulled the tweet so all is well, but the fact that venerable CritRollStats also thought Molly used more pronouns than he/him is absolute proof that fandom's willful disregard for his pronouns has supplanted his own choice, and that's transphobic.
(To be very clear, I don't think CritRollStats is being transphobic, I think they made an honest mistake because of fandom's unexamined transphobia seeping into reality. This is on collective fandom.)
Trans people choose their pronouns. you do not choose their pronouns for them. It is transphobic to decide trans people are wrong about their pronouns and need to be fixed is transphobia. Even if you're nonbinary doing it.
If you can't connect to a nonbinary character unless he's using the "right" "nonbinary" pronouns, that's internalized transphobia. Molly isn't less nonbinary because he uses he/him. Nonbinary people have said erasing his problems is a problem since day one and here we still are.
If it was a few fics of him exploring using other pronouns, it would be different. The fact that nearly all fics exploring Molly being nonbinary willfully disregard his pronouns is transphobic, though.
The whole tag is inaccessible to my binary pronoun nonbinary friends because it makes them dysphoric to see the character misgendered (make no mistake, that's what deliberately using the wrong pronouns always is). That's a problem.
Brain: “Help us with the pronouns, ‘cause I get a lot of tweets. What’s your official pronouns?”
Taliesin: “He.”
Brain: “A he? Okay good.”
Taliesin: “It’s a- pronoun’s he. But I don’t think that he would take offense at anything. He’s very- very chill &…” https://deramin.net/2018/05/11/taliesin-gives-mollys-pronouns/
