I was surprised to see Jakob Chychrun passively drafted all month. First-round pedigree, big shot, had 12 goals last year. Was in regular PP mix Thursday, finished with six shots, two assists (one on PP). Definite upside here, only at 16-percent rostered.

It's not like anyone expected Detroit to be good. But Carolina just canceled those guys for three periods. Shots: 42-14. It felt like Detroit never had the puck. Final was just 3-0, thanks to Greiss. Tonight doesn't mean a lot, but Carolina has sneaky long-term potential.
