You know what, let’s do an interactive thread!

Age regression quirk hits izuku who turns into his five year old self after a villain fight, shifting to a child in the nighttime and waking up as his former self.
He walks into the dorm kitchens where everyone is making breakfast.
His big shirt is hanging off his shoulder, not able to keep his pants or boxers on wince they were far too big. But the shirt covers enough, past his thighs almost to his knees. His large eyes water in confusion as he looks around at all these unfamiliar faces.
Theres a pink girl, a guy with two different hair colors, one with spiky red hair, another one who looks like a frog, and so many more. None are faces or features he knows That is, until he sees familiar blonde hair.
He looks different, older, but still very cool.

It’s Kacchan.

Izuku gasps and runs forward, burying his face in his best friends stomach as he clings onto him in fright, snuggling to the only thing he knows. Kacchan still smells the same.
That sweet caramel scent that is his quirk. His little head buries as deep as it could into the mans stomach as he holds onto him, letting out a small sob. “Kacchan!” He was so confused. All of a sudden he woke up in a room by himself.
He was surrounded by All Might stuff, but that barely made him feel any relief to the scary situation of not knowing where you are all of a sudden. Luckily he smelled bacon out in the hallways and heard laughing, so he naturally followed the noise in hopes of help.
He’s always been a curious person after all. Even at the young age of five. And somebody had to help him. Maybe a hero was here or something. Someone who can get him home to his mom.
Everyone stares as suddenly Izuku turns up at the kitchen nearly half his size all of a sudden. They don’t even have time to react before he’s running to the blonde who stands there stunned with a blank face.

What the hell is happening?
“What the fuck is this?” Bakugo spits, eyes wide and voice harsh. His face is pale, like hes seen a ghost. Which isnt too far off. Younger Izuku is a ghost of his past, one that haunts him every day.

“Is that Deku?” Everyone starts to ask, beginning to crowd the blondes space.
Izuku looks behind his shoulder to see everyone getting closer, whimpering and holding on tighter to Bakugo who is quick to snap at the invading people. “Get the fuck back!” He puts his hand on Izukus shoulder and takes a step back, putting some distance between the odd pair-
and the rest of his classmates.

Izuku stays clinging onto Bakugo, staining his shirt with tears and making the blonde grimace. What the hell is he supposed to do? How did Izuku get like this?
“I’ll go get Aizawa-sensei!” Iida quickly says before he’s running off the teachers dorms.
Everyone stays staring at the two before Mina finally says something, snapping her fingers at Bakugo and giving him a pointed look. “Well what are you doing!? Comfort the poor thing!”
What does Bakugo do?
Bakugo clicks his tongue and is about to deny the request, but then Izuku tugs on his shirt, looking at him with those huge eyes of his, and god damn the guilt of the past hits him hard at that moment. He chokes on his refusal and swallows thickly.
“Don’t... Don’t cry, Deku.”

Izuku nods, but tears start flowing from his cheeks at an even faster rate after that. He wipes his nose and reaches out for Bakugo, holding his arms up and making grabby hands at him.
Bakugo remembers that. Izuku was such a baby when they were younger. Even at the age of five he would always do this to Aunty Inko and make her carry him, especially when he was crying, which was most of the time.
“No.” He answers simply, but then he looks up to see the whole class of 1-A’s disapproving glare on him, and he clicks his tongue once again. “I’m not a fucking baby sitter,” he growls.
“No, but you’re the only one he seems to recognize right now,” Kirishima points out. “Hes just a kid bro. Carry him, he doesn’t weigh anything.”

Bakugo groans and snatches Izuku up, making the small boy yelp in surprise, but being carried always brought a sort of comfort to him.
Izuku is now propped on one arm of the blonde, wrapping his arms around his neck as he cuddles into his neck, sniffling quietly.
Its kind of humiliating having to take care of a kid version of your rival, especially when everyones eyes were on them. “What the fuck are you guys looking at,” he snarls. “Hurry up and try to figure out what happened to him.”
“What are we supposed to do? We’re just as confused as you!” Kaminari exclaims.

“Is this part of his quirk?” Ochako asks, everyone still unsure what exactly Izukus quirk was.
“Fuck no,” Bakugo denies quickly. This was for sure not Izukus quirk. All Might would have told him about it or something.

“Perhaps he’s been affected by someone else’s quirk,” Momo, thinks out loud. “He did stray away from the group last night in our rescue missions.”
Everyone starts to nod and agree. Getting hit with quirks like this wasn’t unheard of. Just in case, Aizawa is heading over with Iida. But at this point everyone’s just accepting the fact, or theory.
Everyone but Bakugo who is holding said classmate thats being talked about.
“Well what the hell are we supposed to do with him?” He asks, shaking Izuku in his arm almost as if to remind everyone that he was holding him. “I don’t want to take care of him!”
“Just spend some time with him. Not like you haven’t done it before,” Mina explains, going back to making the waffles she had been working on. “He can eat breakfast with us. Consider yourself lucky, you take care of a cute kid while we do all the hard breakfast work.”
“Who’s the cute kid,” Bakugo scoffs, taking Izuku to the lounge area where he tries to put him down. But the other refuses to let go of him. “Get down Deku.”

“No,” Izuku mumbles, legs wrapped around Bakugo’s abdomen. “Stay with me.”
“You can sit on the fucking couch,” Bakugo argues back, not feeling bad about arguing with a five year old.

“No swearing Kacchan!” Izuku gasps, and thats like a blast to the past for the blonde. Who knows how many times hes heard that when they were younger, but wow, this-
really was Izuku.
He’s given up on making Izuku sit on the couch alone, so he sits down instead, which leaves Izuku on his lap.

Izuku of course gets comfortable and sits down there, facing Katsuki as those green eyes peer up at the blonde.
“The hell are you looking at?”

“Why are you so old Kacchan?” Izuku pouts, sniffing loudly since his nose was still runny from crying earlier.

“I’m not old, you’re just young,” Bakugo answers, glaring at the other. “You’re just a brat now.”
“Don’t call me that,” Izuku mumbles, grabbing Bakugos shirt and using it to wipe some dripping snot from his nose.

“You fuckin-“

“No swearing Kacchan!” Izuku cries out. “Our moms will hear us.”
“We don’t live with our moms anymore idiot,” Bakugo informs. And even if they did, he’s a teenager now, he can say whatever he wants.

“What?” Izuku asks curiously. “But my mommy, she’ll be lonely,” he pouts.
“Well, that’s what happens when stupid UA can’t even take care of it’s own students,” Bakugo grumbles.

Izukus eyes nearly bug out of his head once he hears that. UA?! As in /THE/ UA??
Bakugo already sees the excitement in Izukus eyes. God even at this age hes such a fucking nerd.

“You go to UA Kacchan?!” Izuku asks, his little hands grabbing handfuls of Bakugos shirt as they shake in excitement.
“Of course I do,” he scoffs. “But your dumbass had to follow me here.”

Izukus face blanks at that before he is up off Bakugos lap, jumping up and down on the couches in excitement. “I’m in UA too!” He chants, “together with Kacchan! Where All Might used to go!”
Kirishima pokes his head out the corner of the kitchen at the commotion and meets Izukus eyes, and just like that Izuku scrambles back to the safety of Bakugos lap and quickly burrows his face into his neck. “Who are they Kacchan?” He asks softly, little hands once again-
clutching onto the blonde and his (going to be ruined by the end of the day if things keep going on like this) shirt.

“They’re the other people in our class idiot,” Bakugo chuckles, enjoying seeing the other get so frightened.
He always liked scaring Izuku when they were younger. Whether it be ghost stories, or popping out of nowhere to jump scare him. It was always fun getting a reaction out of him.
Which of course brought him to a great idea.

“Yeah, like the guy with the red hair that just poked his head out. His quirk is eating kids.”

Izuku pulls back and looks at Katsuki as he speaks, but his words make him pale as his mouth falls open.
“B-but, what could he use that quirk for, as a hero?” Izuku asks, stuttering in nervousness. He did notice that the red haired guys teeth were kind of pointy... perfect for munching on kids...

“He eats bad kids,” Bakugo hums, nodding his head like it was a simple truth.
“Kacchan, I’m... I’m not a bad kid, right?” Izuku asks softly, eyes darting to the kitchen where he last saw red hair guy.

“I don’t know Deku, you might be...” Bakugo shrugs, trying his best not to smile and give away the fact that hes messing around with him.
“They say that his hair is so red because he eats so many kids that their blood permanently made his hair like that,” he adds on, about to add more before a voice speaks up behind him.

“And they say that lying to kids is one of the worst things a person can do.”
Izuku jumps and quickly hides again in Bakugos neck at the stranger, and Bakugo just sucks his teeth.

Aizawa-sensei.
“He doesn’t know they’re lies,” he grumbles, fun already over, not that he would ever admit that talking with Izuku was fun.

“Even worse,” Aizawa sighs, sitting across from the two. “Tenya tells me he just appeared to the class like this, and went straight to you.”
“Basically.”

“I figured this would happen. One of the parents of a kid he rescued last night called earlier and explained her kid has a quirk that regresses age,” he explains tiredly. “It’s temporary, depending on him and when he wants to transform back.”
Oh, so it was a quirk. And temporary at that too. Bakugo grabs the back of Izukus shirt and pulls him out of his neck. “Hey, turn yourself back.”

Izuku just whines, not wanting to speak with the stranger so close. He closes his eyes and scrunches his face up, pulling himself-
back to Bakugos neck where he felt safe.

Aizawa sees the rough behavior of Katsuki and pinches the bridge of his nose. “I think it will be better if I take him. So that way we can monitor him and make sure he’s okay. Maybe get him to change back too.”
Okay so when Aizawa takes Izu, does he:
((Also im going to sleep, I’ll continue tomorrow, goodnight everyone 💕))
((OH ALSO, maybe momo can make izu an outfit 😀☝🏽 if anyone would like to drop a cute kiddy outfit for him. Reply to this tweet with a pic of the outfit. I’ll pick the one with the most likes in the morning when i wake up. basically u all vote more, just on stuff yall choose))
——————
“Take him,” Bakugo says quickly, pulling Izuku off of him and quickly dropping him off at Aizawas side.

Izuku squeaks and seizes up, nervously reaching out to Bakugo who steps away. “Ka-Kacchan,” he manages to get out, but Bakugo shakes his head.
“This is our teacher. It’s eraser head, did you not notice? Maybe you’ll see All Might at the teacher dormitory.”

Izuku freezes at that.

Bullseye. Bakugo knows Izuku too well.
“Eraserhead? All Might?” Izuku turns to Aizawa and stares up at him with those wide green eyes.
Aizawas gaze softens and he looks at the child. “Midoriya, let’s take you too recovery girl. Just so she can give you a check up. Will you come with me?”
Izuku looks at Katsuki then at the pro hero. Its between comfort and curiosity. And of course his curiosity gets the best of him. “Y-yes please,” he finally says, about to hold out his arms to be held before choosing not to. A stranger holding him is kind of scary.
Even if they were a pro hero. So he instead takes the heros hand when he stands up and walks with him, glancing at Katsuki several times. Although before they can walk out of the room, the pro hero calls over a student, pointing to Izuku and then to his shirt.
“Make him something, please Momo,” he requests, to which the girl quickly nods.

“Hold your hands out Midoriya,” she says sweetly to which Izuku does. Then suddenly she lifts her shirt, exposing her stomach as a red white blue and yellow fabric onsie comes out of her.
Izukus eyes widen and he stares as she suddenly makes something from her stomach. Its an All Might onesie! What an amazing quirk! “T-thank you!” He sputters, so in awe of the talent.
That is before the red head guy who eats kids pokes his head out of the kitchen again. “Hey Momo, you want orange juice or apple?” He spots Izuku and smiles, waving happily to the cute kid version of his classmate.
Izuku quickly scoots closer to Aizawa and grows quiet. “Okay kid, lets go. You can change with recovery girl.”

Izuku gives one last look at Bakugo whos has just stayed watching the two before he’s out the door. Its not his problem. Aizawa would take care of it now.
——————
——————
Kacchan was right, Izuku was able to meet All Might. Luckily he met him before he changed into his onesie, because the poor kid pees himself in excitement, which then leads him to start crying the whole time he’s getting inspected by recovery girl.
He’s of course cleaned up and then put into his new outfit, but its like his tears never stop. So much so that he ends up knocking out in the nurses room, tucked under some blankets as hes left to rest.
From Aizawas understanding and explanation of the quirk, Izuku won’t be able to turn back unless he wants to turn back. The thing is, how do you convince an excited kid surrounded by all his favorite heros to go back to something he doesn’t even know exists?
It’s not troublesome to the point of stopping everything theyre doing to figure out the solution, but its trouble enough for him to stay supervising the kiddo as he sleeps. But in true tired man fashion, he ends up falling asleep in his chair next to the bed Izukus in.
And he’s usually a fairly light sleeper. If one of his students tries to sneak out in the middle of class, he can wake up with just the sound of their steps, but those are highschoolers. This is a child, a small one. So when Izuku gets off the bed and starts looking around-
the nurses room, the older man never stirs.
Izuku looks at the bandages in the cabinets, swabs in the drawers, and even takes a candy thats in a jar. This is fun, being with all the heroes he looks up to, but he doesn’t know them. He does know Kacchan though.
And while this is fun, Kacchan is way more fun. Because Kacchan knows how to do everything, not to mention hes big and strong now! So he sets out to look for him, walking out the nurses room and down the halls of UA.
There’s not much people in the hallways, in fact there’s no one. Maybe its a weekend, because Kacchan wasn’t in class either, he was making breakfast with his classmates. And if it was a weekday, Izuku would be in school too.
That’s his sound logic as he walks through large hallways, not really paying attention to where he is going.
All he hears are his own footsteps, and after a while he starts to grow a bit nervous. But his mommy has always told him, when he’s feeling scared, just hum!
So that’s what he does as he walks, looking down at the tiles on the floor, making sure not to step on any cracks.
He’s starting to feel better, even picking up the pace and transitioning to a happy skip as he sings happily.
He’s having so much fun that he forgets what he was initially doing turning whatever which way which only gets him deeper into the large UA building. He would have kept going deeper if it wasn’t for him running into something, or someone, falling back on his butt.
“I-Im sorry!” He says quickly, looking up at who he just bumped into.
Who does Izuku bump into?
“Are you okay?” A calm voice asks, holding a hand out to Izuku.

Izuku stares at the outstretched hand for a bit before he grabs it, getting helped up by the purple haired man. “I’m looking for Kacchan,” Izuku admits without being asked.
“Kacchan...” Shinso repeats, staring at Izuku. He’s heard that name before. Someone in 1-A... only one person called him that though. The only person he knows in 1-A, Midoriya. His eyes narrow and he thinks to himself for a bit as Izuku fidgets under his gaze.
“He-he said that we live in the dorms now...”

“Are you Midoriyas brother?” Shinso interrupts, finding the resemblance so eerie. Why else would there be a child roaming the halls if not for a sibling. “Izuku, Izuku Midoriya. Are you his brother?”
Izuku shakes his head and points at the mask thats resting around the older guys neck. “Whats that? Do you have a quirk too? Are you in Kacchans class?”
Shinso shakes his head and looks down at his mask. “It’s a mask, helps with my quirk.”

Izukus eyes brighten and he looks up at the other with excited curiosity. “Whats your quirk? I met a girl earlier who made me this from her belly!” He pulls on his onesie ears.
“Hypnosis,” Shinso answers, and Izuku lets out an excited shriek as he starts jumping up and down.

“Thats so cool! Hypnosis, you can do anything!” He starts running around Shinso who is stunned silent. Where is Midoriya, or Bakugo? Why aren’t they with this kid?
Not only that, but hes never seen anyone that excited over his quirk, only Midoriya. It’s not a bad feeling though. “Hey... I’ll take you to Bakugo. Just make sure he keeps an eye on you. You shouldn’t be wandering around here alone.”
Izuku nods and picks up his hand so it can be held.
Shinso looks at it cautiously but ends up taking it. He starts walking Izuku to the dorms, pointing out the gym, the cafeteria, and whatever the boy wanted. He was so excited about everything.
It was refreshing seeing something like that. By the time they got to the dorms he already finds his lips quirking upwards into a smile. The Midoriyas were really something else.
They go up the elevator to class 1-A’s floor. The doors open to the common area where most the-
class is sitting. They all turn to see Shinso and Izuku, brightening up when they see the cute greenette.
“Izukus back!” Mina says happily.
Izuku spots Bakugo and lets go of Shinsos hand, walking to the blonde and leaving the other alone in the elevator.
“Izuku? Wha-“ But the elevator doors begin to shut, Izuku turning around and waving bye before the other is gone, going back down.

“Kacchan, Kacchan! I met All Might!” Izuku exclaims, climbing onto the blondes lap and sitting himself there. “But- but then I...”
His face grows red and he looks around, everyones eyes are on him. But he cant say this out loud, it’s embarassing! So he gets on his knees and goes to Bakugos ear, whispering softly. “But then I peed myself,” he whines, pulling back and pouting.
Bakugo has to say, he kind of was expecting Izuku to come back. But to come back and say that though- he throws his head back and cackles loudly, making Izuku pout and smack his chest.
“It’s not funny Kacchan!”

“You’re just a piss baby!” Bakugo laughs some more, and everyone gets what was implied.

“Did you have an accident Izuku?” Ochako asks sweetly.
“Aww, don’t worry about it hon, you’re still really small,” Mina smiles.

Izuku shakes his head vigorously. “N-no, no I didn’t- I didn’t-“ he feels the shame creep up on him, and he looks to Katsuki for help.
“The idiot pissed his pants when he met All Might!” Bakugo sputters, holding his stomach as he laughs some more.

Iuzkus eyes widen as Bakugo tells everyone, feeling his whole body burn up in embarassment. “No... no I-“ his bottom lip warbles, and he shrinks in on himself.
“I didn’t mean to,” he sniffles as fat tears start to fall down his cheeks. “I didn’t mean toooo!” He starts crying as the whole class stares at the two. Bakugos laughing while Izukus crying. Or more, Bakugo is crying at Izukus expense.
“Come on dude, you didn’t have to say that out loud,” Kirishima sighs, giving Bakugo a disappointed look.

“It’s funny, I know you all think s-“ but no, with the way everyone is looking at him, Bakugo can see that they didnt in fact find it funny.
They all just hold that same disapproving face.

“Izu baby, don’t cry,” Mina coos, crawling to him since she was sitting on the floor, she gets on her knees to be eye level with him. “You were just excited was all, right?”
Izuku whimpers and nods, hiding his face in his arms. Mina pouts and looks at the class who all looks sad to see him cry. “Aww come here, can I carry you?” She asks. “I can give you a nice big hug. To make you feel better.”
“Mommy says hugs make me feel better,” he mumbles, hiccuping between his words.

“Your mommy is right. So what about it?” She opens her arms and Izuku gets off Bakugo’s lap and goes to her instead where he gets a nice warm hug from her then all the girls.
Then Kirishima is patting Izukus back, Kaminari is making him laugh, Todoroki is making him little ice sculptures, Sato is already getting up to make him a cake. Everyone just bands together to protect Izuku while Bakugo gawks from his seat.
Okay, yes, maybe he went too far. But did Izuku seriously just abandon him. Just like that?! What happened to only letting him be the one to carry him?? “H-hey,” he barks, but no one listens to him. How fucking annoying.
What should Bakugo do?

Option A: apologize right off the bat, join in on fun

Option B: sulk by himself, izu comes to him, then he apologizes

Option C: sulk, go to izu himself and apologize
OKAY quick poll to figure out the tie while i get ready
ONE MORE TIME THIS ONES ONLY GONNA BE TWENTY MINUTES
The class starts having a little party for Izuku who starts warming up to everyone now that he knows theyre kind. They all show him their quirks, except Kirishima who he stays away from, scared to be eaten if he shows his.
It’s a breath of fresh air for them. Yesterday’s villain fight took alot from them. They always do, some more than others. So they always make sure to enjoy their time together when they make it back from that.
Like making breakfast the day after. Not that one of their classmates turns into a kid every time, but its just another reason to celebrate, especially after knowing he’s going to turn back eventually.
Bakugo ends up going to his room. Everyone is ignoring him, even Izuku who is now petting Kodas pet bunny. But not like he cares. He wanted to get rid of the annoying kid anyways. And who cares if his classmates thought he was mean. He wasn’t here to make friends.
He’s not here to make friends, and yet he keeps on thinking about Izuku and everyone out there. Izukus only like five years old right now, and he may have been a little bit too mean to him about the whole peeing his pants things.
It was pretty funny though, but to a kid, it was probably humiliating. He can already hear his moms voice from when he was younger, telling him to go apologize for making Izuku cry. How fucking annoying.
So he heads over to the common room where everyone is currently eating cake together, Izuku at the head of table with a ground zero plushie under his arm and little All Might figures in front of him.
“You guys are spoiling him,” Bakugo grunts.
“Well he deserves it after what you did to him,” Mina huffs. “Not like we wanted to make him a Ground Zero toy, he asked for it.”

Bakugo flips her off and points to Izuku. “Hey, come here.”
Izuku looks at the other with wide eyes before getting up and following him to the empty kitchen. He’s holding his ground zero plushie to his chest, staying unusually quiet. Although he did that when he was sulking.
“Hey, look. You pissed your pants, big deal,” Bakugo starts, leaning against the counter and glaring down at Izuku. “It was no reason for you to start crying like that.”
Izuku pouts and looks away. “Kacchans a meanie. You didn’t have to tell everyone. It was a secret.”

“Tch, I know that,” Bakugo spits, looking away and scratching the back of his neck. “Look, I’m sorry I did that, okay? Now stop making everyone hate me.”
And the apology is an immediate perk up for Izuku who runs to Bakugos leg and hugs it, nuzzling his face into him. “Its okay Kacchan!” He replies happily before shoving his ground zero doll up at Bakugo’s face. “They told me this is what your hero costume looks like! So cool!”
His praise for his best friend just spills from his lips, and Bakugo cant help but smile at his idiocy. He really was just waiting for an apology just so he can give him some praise. “C’mere,” he mumbles, offering his hand.
Izuku looks at it with wide eyes before a bright smile spreads on his face. He takes Bakugos hand and hes lifting into his arms, immediately hugging the blonde who pats his back. “Okay, you’re going to give me some of your cake,” Bakugo grunts as he takes him back to the table.
Izuku sits in his lap and feeds him cake, although most of it falls on Bakugos shirt, but the effort was there.
The class makes fun of them, calling them best friends and whatever they could come up with, and while Bakugo snaps back at them, Izuku looks so excited to be best-
friends with such an amazing person. So much so that he does nothing but stick to Bakugo for the rest of the night, insisting on being carried by him so they could be as close as can be.
“Kacchan, Kacchan!” Izuku calls out, tugging his friends pants and lifting his arms while everyone sits to watch a movie together. “Carry me?”

Bakugo sighs but lifts him onto his lap where Izuku gets comfortable
Kaminari sees how comfortable they are and pats his lap. “Hey Midoriya, come sit on my lap too,” he grins, but Bakugo flips him off and wraps an arm around Izuku. “Fuck no, he’s fine here,” he huffs, which in turn makes the whole class start clowning him.
“Bakugo’s jealoussss!” Mina teases, poking her friends arm. But all he does is huff and glare at the TV. Izukus getting along with everyone, but like hell he’ll let them carry him around all willy nilly. What if they hurt him?
Izuku just smiles and hugs Katsukis arm. That is until Kaminari speaks up again.
“Aww come on Kacchan, you’re so stingy.”
Now, /that/ makes Izuku sit up to furrow his brows and glare at Denki as hard as he can, although its just cute with his chubby little cheeks all puffed up.
“Kami, only Deku can call him that,” Ochako giggles, hitting the blondes arm.

“Fine, fine,” Denki sighs, although he shares a grin with the rest of his classmates who enjoy seeing the two getting closer.
They all settle down after a while, the movie starting and gaining their attention. Izuku only watches for about an hour before he’s nodding off, cuddling into Bakugo as he falls asleep on him. A long day like his on such a little body is for sure going to tucker him out.
“You should take him to bed,” Mina whispers in Bakugos ear to which he nods. “Yeah, probably will.” He gathers Izuku in his arms so his chubby cheek is resting on his shoulder, taking him to their hallway of bedrooms.
Does Izu:

A: Sleep with Bakugo right off the bat. Like Baku making the decision to take him to his room

B: Get dropped off in his own room but then have to go door to door to find Bakugos room.
For a moment, Bakugo thinks about just taking Izuku to his room. The guys small enough to fit comfortably on his bed with him, but he quickly takes that out of his bed of options and decides to just put Izuku in his own room.
So he carefully opens the door and places him down onto the bed, tucking him in, as well as the stupid ground zero plush. “Night idiot,” he mumbles, looking him over in the moonlight before leaving and closing the door behind him.
The movie seems to have ended, because everyone is already heading to their rooms, saying goodnight to eachother as they all retire to their respective areas.
Bakugo goes into his own room as well and gets into bed. He’s usually in bed at an earlier hour, but today was obviously not a normal day. He was tired though, so it didn’t take long for him to fall asleep. Although his dreams take him to his childhood. To spending-
time with Izuku, playing together, laughing together. Then to the not so pretty parts, hitting him, calling him names, making him cry. Telling him he’s better off dead. Not taking that outstretched hand.
It certainly leaves a bad taste in his mouth as he rolls over in his sleep, no longer a peaceful expression, but brows furrowed and sweat forming on his brow.
——————
——————
On the other end of things, Izuku is waking up to no more warmth around him. He sits up and wipes his sleepy eyes, noticing hes alone in the room he was in this morning. It’s not fun waking up alone, and he’s still sleepy. He wants Kacchan, needs him actually.
So he grabs his Ground Zero plushie and gets out of bed, tiredly walking out the door and blindly going to the one right across from him. He doesn’t bother to read the name plates. To be honest he can’t even read that well.
So he just opens the door and walks in, going to the bed and lifting the blanket and peering in to see who it was. Although who he sees makes him gasp as he quickly drops the blanket down and scurries out of the room.
He wont he eaten today.
So he goes to the next room over and does the same thing. Except this time its Kaminari. So on to the next room. He walks in, but to his surprise its Todoroki sitting down under a kotatsu, drinking some green tea. Izuku yawns and walks to him, tugging his sleeve.
“I want Kacchan,” he whines softly, knowing the other boy was nice. He had made him some shaved ice earlier.

“Bakugo?” Todoroki asks to which Izuku nods. “He’s the last room down the hall. On the right. Do you want me to take you?”
Izuku nods and waits for the other to get up before grabbing his hand. They both start walking down the hall, slowly since Izuku was still sleepy. “He’s probably going to get mad if you wake him up, Midoriya.”
“It’s okay,” Izuku mumbles, his soft padded feet making little thumps as he steps.

“Are you sure? If he makes you cry again it wouldn’t be nice to you.”

“Kacchan doesn’t do it on purpose.” Izuku explains, readjusting his grip on his plushie which he holds close to him.
Todoroki stays quiet, now in front of Bakugo’s door. “If you say so,” he shrugs, opening it and letting Izuku go inside.

“Cause- cause he loves me,” Izuku says, a small smile on his lips before the door is shut with a small click.
It’s dark in here, but the moonlight gives enough light for Izuku to navigate his way around. He climbs onto the bed and pulls the blankets up, staring down at Bakugo who looks like hes in pain. “Kacchan,” he whispers, placing his hand on his best friends cheek.
Bakugo dreams of Izuku. The harsh words he would say to him, the way he would hit him. All of it just comes back. And that day in middle school, telling Izuku he would be better off dead. What if Izuku had listened to him. What he had taken that swan dive. He would have been de-
But he can’t even think of that. No, there’s something touching him. Something warm. He opens his eyes, and there’s little Izuku, looking down at him with obvious worry. The same way he looked down at him that day he fell down the bridge in the forest.
That day, it filled Bakugo with such a hatred for his once friend. Made him feel inferior, looked down upon, but now... now its what he needs. It’s like a do over in a cruel way.
He puts his hand on top of Izukus and holds it gently before pulling him close to his chest.
Izuku doesn’t say anything, just lets himself be held. In fact its just what he wanted, snuggling close and closing his eyes.

“Come back to me, Deku,” Bakugo says softly.
He got his do over, his little hand of closure which he needed to take. And that is enough. But he needs the normal Izuku back. He’s the one he truly needs to apologize to.

——————
——————
Does Izuku:

A: Come back remembering

B: Come back not knowing what happened
The next morning is a lazy one. Its a sunday, no practice, no gym, nothing. And Bakugos body knows that as he shifts in his sleep and hugs whatever is close to him even closer. There’s sunlight seeping in through his window, but he keeps his eyes shut.
It’s far too comfortable, but he’s not the only one feeling that way.

Izuku shifts and nuzzles deeper into whatever warmth is at his face. His pillow is so warm... and soft. He smiles and gently bites it, although his teeth scrape across a small nub that earns a groan from-
what is apparently /not/ his pillow. His green eyes fly open as he finds himself face to face with a beautiful line of cleavage, immediately making him seize up as his eyes grow wide, face burning up. He knows this cleavage. He sees it everyday.
“K-k-kacchan?!” He shrieks, quickly pulling back. And its like a flood of memories he didn’t even know he had start rushing inside of him. Its younger him, him and Kacchan, him with All Might, Eraser Head, Shinso, Todoroki, the whole class, and then back to just him and Kacchan.
He had... turned into a child. A quirk from the little girl he saved the day before he remembers Aizawa saying. It was rocky at first, but when he gets back to Kacchan, the other had warmed up to him. Even just remembering how Kacchan would hold him in his arms made butterflies-
flutter around in Izukus stomach. He probably decided to change back in his sleep unknowingly, because hes back to his normal self, except hes wrapped up in Bakugos arms. Which makes him incredibly nervous, but honestly... why not just enjoy it? At least until Bakugo wakes up.
So he slowly lays his head back down and tries to relax. He scoots closer and nuzzles into Bakugos chest with a soft sigh, arms going around him and hugging him as he grips onto that black tank top.
He feels a bit bittersweet. It was really nice being close to Bakugo again. He doesn’t know what he did wrong, but seeing Bakugo slowly pull away from him, start hating him, that had to be one of the most painful things he had ever felt in his life.
“I’m sorry Kacchan,” he apologizes, feeling some tears burn in the back of his eyes. He doesn’t know what hes done, but he’s sorry for it. “I miss you,” he whimpers, closing his eyes and just enjoying this closeness he’ll never have again.
“Sorry for what damn nerd?” Bakugo speaks up, tired morning voice rumbling into his chest, which makes Izuku quickly push him away in a panic.
Oh gosh he’s really dead meat now.
“Kacchan!” He yelps, scrambling away although its only now he’s realizing he’s naked.
The All Might onesie must have torn off when he grew back. So he quickly grabs the blanket and wraps it around himself, stumbling off the bed and looking anywhere but at the blonde. “I’m sorry for causing you trouble! I’ll- I’ll go back to my room now!”
He’s scrambling to the door, struggling since one hand was trying to keep his blanket around him, but a warm hand on his wrist stops him from leaving. In fact it pulls him back into Bakugos warm chest as those arms wrap around him again.
Only this time those arms are awake, and they’re holding him. “Kacchan, what are you doing?” Izuku asks softly, his arms by his side as he stands there stiffly. His heart races in his chest as he tries to think this through.
“What? You can hug me but I can’t hug you?” Bakugo scoffs, holding Izuku tighter. “You’re stupid... Deku.”

“I know Kacchan,” Izuku nods. Bakugo tells him that almost everyday.

Bakugo clicks his tongue and flicks Izukus side. “Don’t agree with me idiot.”
“O-okay,” Izuku says cautiously. But now his eyes are burning, and hes blinking back tears as the hug just gets warmer and warmer. His words want to spill out, but Bakugo speaks before they do.
“I don’t hate you,” he says, voice unusually soft for him. “I don’t hate you... Izuku.”

Deku whimpers softly, his limp arms barely lifting so he can grip the sides of Bakugos shirt. “You don’t...?”

“I don’t...”
“But why-“

“I don’t know,” Bakugo truly answers. “I never should have hurt you. I shouldn’t have told you those things. I didn’t mean them.”

Izuku scoots closer and he starts crying there, but his face gets lifted and hes forced to look at Bakugo who looks so pained.
“I’m sorry Izuku,” he apologizes, brows furrowed and eyes wide. “I’m sorry- I want... to start over with you. I want to make it up to you. If you don’t want to, that’s okay. But I’ll try. I want to try.”
Izuku is full on sobbing at this point, snot and tears running down his face as he tries to look up at Bakugo with those wide eyes. But they keep blurring with tears that just seem non stop at this point.
Hes hearing all these words which he only wished he would ever hear.
Bakugo is apologizing to him and asking for a do-over. And while those years were hell for Izuku, there is no one in this world that he wants more to stand by his side with him. It’s been Bakugo. It’s always been Bakugo.
Above All Might, above all his friends, it’s Bakugo who he looks to. “Please,” he bubbles out, moving his hands to grip at the fabric at Bakugos chest. “Please don’t be lying to me,” he begs.

And Bakugo is shaking his head, the most earnest expression on his face. “I’m not.”
“Then yes, yes please,” Izuku cries, wrapping his arms around Bakugos neck as he clings onto him. “I don’t want to lose you again, ever.”

The words make Bakugos chest ache. To think Izuku loves him this much. He’s so undeserving of it. After everything hes done.
But he’s going to make up for it, even if he spends the rest of his life doing so.

“I won’t. I’m here to stay.”
