@LithiumIonBull

No need to jump to extreme conclusions. Never talked about any NA #Lithium Triangle. Would be like comparing apples with oranges. My reasoning is simple.
1. What I said is that under the present circumstances, investors &OEMs may shift their attention to NA. https://twitter.com/LithiumIonBull/status/1349831873615245314
2. No secret a significant part of the Australian #lithium industry is under stress due to: a) low prices (PILBF, ALTAF), b) geopolitical tensions+debt problem (Tianqi), c) low Li2O reserves to plan long term (Galaxy).
3. Hard to know why SC6 prices are still so low with Li2CO3 prices going up in China. Is China getting the #lithium it needs from somewhere else? Argentina´s low-grade lithium brine concentrates, or even low-grade Li2CO3, perhaps?
4. Is Australia´s excessive reliance on SC6 exports to China beginning to asfixiate its #lithium industry?

5. Under the new Biden admnistration, the demand for EVs (as well as for L.i-ion batteries and lithium compounds) may increase substantially in N.A.
6. Tesla´s gigafactory may have reached a point at which any further battery cost improvements may have to come from reduction in material costs through either vertical integration or strategic alliances with close mining partners.
