A: it has nothing to do with LGBT and BIPOC, but someone, maybe even for good reasons, dropped all the gold coins and powerups there, so all the insane griefers rushed to it like moths to the flame, and are now using the gold and weapons to attack everyone else

The labels aren't meaningful, and paying too much attention to them actually HURTS your understanding.

but that's not exactly what you were getting at - you were saying the ASSIGNMENT of identities, and, again, everyone (well, many) are ALWAYS trying to assign themselves privileged identities
e.g. "stolen valor", "as a cancer survivor", "as a latinx..." etc
