Clan Skirata is a lesser known Mandalorian clan that existed during the Clone Wars past the Yuuzahn Vong War. The earliest known Skirata was Munin Skirata. Munin would adopt a child named Falin Mattran and rename him to Kal Skirata. Kal would become the leader of Clan Skirata.
Kal married a non Mandalorian woman and had two sons and a daughter. Due to Kal constantly fighting wars for money, his wife left him and his sons disowned him in the Mandalorian way. This hurt Kal but he moved on in life.
Kal was a friend of Jango Fett who brought him into the Cuy'val Dar (Those who no longer exist) to train his new Clone army. Kal made it his mission to train the Clones in not only combat but also in the Mandalorian way. Most Clones called him Kal'buir (Papa Kal).
He encountered a group of Clones that were labeled as "Null". These were soon to be ARC troopers that were deemed imperfect by the Kaminoans and were to be terminated. Kal stepped in and ended up adopting them as his sons. They were: Ordo, Mereel, Jaing, A'den, Prudii, and Kom'rk
In this storyline (Legends), Kom'rk and Jaing were the ones who located General Grievous on Utapau and reported it to Chancellor Palpatine.
Omega Squad (a Republic Commando squad) was trained by Kal Skirata and they grew closer to him compared to other squads. Over time, Kal would adopt them as his sons as well. An ex-demo Clone Trooper named Corr was also adopted by Skirata after growing close to Omega Squad.
Some of the Clones that were adopted also married. Darman married a Jedi named Etain Tur-Mukan and had a child they named Venku Skirata. Fi married a Mandalorian named Parja Bralor (niece of Rav Bralor, another Cuy'val Dar). Atin married a Twi'lek named Laseema.
Ordo married a Republic Treasury Agent named Besany Wennen. Niner, Mereel, Jaing, Corr, Prudii, and Kom'rk never married. Kal Skirata's real daughter eventually reunited with him and chose to become his daughter again.
Jedi Knight Bardon Jusik helped the Skiratas multiple times throughout the Clone Wars. Eventually he dropped the Jedi Order and became a Mandalorian. He was adopted by Kal to be his son as well.
The Skiratas found the cure for the Clone's accelerated aging which allowed them to live past the Yuuzahn Vong War. Mereel met with an older Boba Fett and gave him a cure for his tumor. Venku Skirata was a part of a political Mandalorian faction for Mandalore.
Another thing to note about Venku Skirata. He was also named Kad Skirata to hide him from the Jedi and Republic. When he was an adult, he wore multi colored armor. This was because he wore pieces of armor that belonged to his various uncles.
Clan Skirata lived on a farm on Mandalore called Kyrimorut. It was the place that Kal Skirata was raised by Munin Skirata. It was secluded and not many other Mandalorians knew about it's existence.
