Two things that definitely need to be simplified/made more accessible to the average Indian:

~Understanding of Tax Procedure
~Awareness of Laws

For things that make up such a large portion of our lives, they're 'criminally' inaccessible, both literally & figuratively.
Jargon is the enemy.

Why is basic banking & tax procedure not taught at a secondary level? Given that there are so many tax-saving incentives, best saving practices should be made easily available & encouraged.
From what I've seen, banking & saving practices, at least among the the middle-class, seems to be largely passed down generation to generation within the family.

Not everyone's lucky enough to have guidance in something as important as financial planning from an early stage.
I'm not coming from a "parens patriae" angle, the State & economy actually have much to gain by stepping in.

From the State's perspective, simplifying taxation will improve compliance while helping people increase disposable income (and hence demand✅) https://twitter.com/iRohanSachdeva/status/1259832192538009601
Digressing here, but of course the best alternative solution to the tax problem (and the simplest) would be to naturally get rid of personal income tax altogether. 😏

Arguably, a more practical alternative to UBI as well. https://twitter.com/iRohanSachdeva/status/1258021762853371905
