A thread of footballers who look like they should do a different job:

1) Emile Smith-Rowe

Works part-time in H&M and is class at folding jeans. Wears a sneaky AirPod whilst on shift so that he can listen to The Maccabees first album & nothing else.
2) Ryan Fraser

Works in a local chip shop with his parents. Knows the locals well, and remembers the regular old people’s weekly orders. The old woman call him “a lovely young man”.
3) Charlie Adam

Part owns a scaffolding company with his brother. Bit of a rogue tradesman as has a tendency to overcharge. But at Christmas, has been to known to give some old people a bit of a discount. Loves on-site banter & wolf whistling.
4) Charlie Austin

Played football to a fairly decent level but enjoyed boozing a bit too much and “has a dodgy knee”. Since football he now co-hosts the Happy Hour podcast with YouTuber JaackMaate.
5) Leighton Baines

Owns a small independent vinyl record shop in a seaside town. Seen the Arctic Monkeys live over 30 times & still wears all of his festival armbands. Got Nirvana lyrics tattooed on his arm.
6) Tomas Soucek

Failed actor. Played the villains sidekick in the last Bond movie but was ultimately cut from the film. Now works in a car garage but couldn’t give a shit. Lovely bloke when you get to know him, but would also kick your head in.
6) Kylian Mbappe

Barber in a trendy shop in Hackney. Gives the lads free fades. Got a collection of retro skateboards up in his living room despite not being able to skate.

Doesn’t tell his mates he fucking love marvel magazines.
8) Tommy McNamara

Anything bar football.
9) Oleksandr Zinchenko

Works in KFC. Doesn’t give a shit about his job, and hates his manager, but for some reason - still insists on charging you for an extra pot of BBQ dip.

Got a written warning once for asking for a young female customers Snapchat.
